The thought just occurred to me that I'll be living in Italy for another year and a half, which means that we've already been here for 2 1/2 years. So no wonder I have an itch to redecorate. Even though we really never decorated too much in the first place because the landlord won't let us paint our walls, yes it sucks. Plus I'm not the greatest interior decorator so we'll see what happens. Anyway, I'm leaning toward artsy, modern, glam, or a combination.
I'm waiting on my new entertainment center to get here, it's very similar to this one
All those little cubbies give me plenty of room to add whatever decor items I've got a feel for. Here's a peek at what I've got my eye on at the moment (all from Amazon)...
I figured that so far that's a good start. Of course I'll need a few more odds and ends statues/vases to display since the only real book collection (as in tangible books and not digitally stored on my Kindle) I have is the Twilight series.
In my redecoration process I'm also thinking about the bedroom, the hallway, and the stair case. But if I told you all my ideas there would be no surprise element. Although I can't keep it a secret too long because I'm exploding with pure excitement! That being said, I'll be a cheater and show you bits and pieces as we go.
