How to Wear? Thigh High Boots

I love thigh high boots! My husband bought me a platform pair a few years back and they seriously come up to the middle of my thigh with like a 4 1/2 inch heel. But, it is sometimes hard to style these boots because #1 you have to not look like a girl that works the streets and #2 you have to be careful not to show too much skin with such sultry boots. Sometimes I can feel people staring at me when I wear them but I don't care, let them stare.
THB= Thigh High Boots

I've put together 3 outfits, similar ways in which I sport my THB's.
Thigh High Boots

#1. This is probably the most simple way that I go. Black leggings, denim/chambray top that is long enough to cover the bum, and a statement necklace. You can also change out the denim top for a plaid one for 2 different looks. Wanna dress it up a little more? Throw on a fur vest or jacket

#2. THB's and dresses...a harder combo to get right because again, nothing that shows too much skin OR that's really fitted/bodycon. I choose a jumper dress because it doesn't cling to the body but will still show off a peek of those luscious legs. For jewelry I layered a few long strand necklaces that were all in the same color tones.

#3. A tweed jacket kicks this look up a notch beyond just cut offs and a t-shirt. In the spring throw on a sheer jacket instead, to keep the look balanced. Pile on some simple bangles with a couple cool and unique rings = a tad bit rocker/edgy once you add the THB's. (Add tights/leggings if needed)

How do you wear your THB's?

IPSY: December Glam Bag Review

I will be reviewing the products I received in my December Ipsy bag since I've had the chance to test them out for about a month now. If you don't know already here's the spill. Instead of doing an "unboxing" type of post, I review the products over the course of a month and then let you know what I thought and all the product details. If you didn't see my November bag review you can check it out HERE.

This post is a bit late, but we'll be getting back on track for February.
Here's what I received in my December Ipsy Bag...

1). December's Glam Bag- Not going to lie, this month's bag was a disappointment for sure; it felt cheap, was flimsy, and the zipper was in a weird spot. I will probably end up giving it to my daughter to keep her play makeup in.

2). NYX Butter Lip Balm in Red Velvet- Retails for $4.00 (this is the full size)
I'm not a big tinted lip balm fan, I'd rather just wear a lipstick. This is the first NYX balm I…

Post Baby Body...Planning Ahead

I'm over half way to meeting our new little princess! At this stage in the pregnancy I'm also thinking about anything and everything having to do with a 3rd child and all the changes that will be happening in my house. Quite honestly, I'm freaking out a little. Of course I'm doing all the typical things parents do when prepping for a new arrival, but I've also decided to take the time to focus on myself while I still can.

27 weeks pregnant, which means in 13 weeks or less I will be meeting our new tiny princess. One of the things women typically worry about with pregnancy is the ever so dreaded weight gain that comes with the territory. I can happily say that I've done extremely well with this pregnancy and so far only had a 12 pound gain. But as we all know, the 3rd trimester tends to have the largest weight gain. Since I probably won't have a ton of extra down time once the baby arrives, I've decided to go ahead and start planning to lose the ba…

Gracelynn Rose Designs & GIVEAWAY

Today I'm very excited to introduce everyone to Gracelynn Rose Designs! The owner, Stephanie, is one of my closest and dearest friends that I consider more of a sister. The first time we met it was instant friendship, now we've known each other for 5 years. Even though we're currently thousands of miles apart it's as if we never left.

Stephanie has been designing her own jewelry since 2001 and selling it to customers along with a few stores. Each design is her own, delicately handcrafted, and unique. She did an entire jewelry line based on Twilight (which of course I loved every piece) that was so beautiful AND she sold a line of pearl & crystal bracelets to David's Bridal and those were stunning.

For my birthday Stephanie sent me a pair of earrings in the mail and I fell in love with them and wear them every chance I get. Might I add that they are 1 of a kind, not another pair like them...

It's obvious that my girl is super talented and I'm so proud of h…
