Like A Baby's Bottom

All skin care professionals will tell you this...
#1. Every morning wash your face
#2. Use a routine skin care product daily (day, night, or both)
#3. Every night before bed clean your make up off
#4. Get plenty of sleep to minimize bags or dark circles around the eyes. Start using an eye cream early in life.

Well guess what? I do wash my face every morning in the shower, but the rest I don't do as often as I should. That is until now! I went to the store yesterday and they had the Clinique 3 Step Cleanse sets for $11.00. It comes with Liquid Facial Soap Mild, Clarifying Lotion, and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I heard great things about it so I decided to picked one up (dry combination skin) and give it a whirl. I have used Clinique before but not these particular items, I've really only used their make up.

3 Step Face Cleaner

Today is day 3 of using these and I'm already in love with the way my skin has improved so far. Already my face feels so much softer, smoother, more even, and my make up goes on easier to. It says to do the routine twice a day but I'm slowly working up to that because I do have sensitive skin if I switch up products or use new stuff. This will last me for a while but as soon as I start running low you bet I'll be right back to buy some more.

Tomorrow I'm going to go check out the make up remover & eye cream as well because Lord knows I need it. Every day I've woke up with either dark circles or bags under my eyes and it's driving me crazy. I turned 25 back in December and I'm starting to notice things that I never had to deal with before. I've always taken good care of my body, weight, and things like that...now I need to do more treatments and things for my skin and hair. What are some of your favorite beauty products?

E.L.F. Cosmetic Brushes...Fave or Fail?

Admittedly I've been using the same Mary Kay makeup brushes for a while now, along with a few other random brands thrown in. I was just satisfied with my MK brushes because they washed well and have help up for a really long time. But it was definitely time for a whole new set and I had trouble making up my mind on which makeup brushes to try. At first my plan was to snag a few from different companies to see what I liked best, but then E.L.F. Cosmetics had a 50% off sale with free shipping over $35. Naturally I had to give it a shot since I was getting so much bang for my buck. I already knew that I wasn't too fond of their cheaper $1 brushes so I opted for the Studio Line which ranges from $3-$10 and I'd heard great reviews. All together I got 15 brushes (1 didn't make it to the picture) for only $37, definitely a steal! Keep reading to find out if it was worth it.

I am extremely pleased with these E.L.F makeup brushes. The only one that I'm not too fond of woul…

IPSY: December Glam Bag Review

I will be reviewing the products I received in my December Ipsy bag since I've had the chance to test them out for about a month now. If you don't know already here's the spill. Instead of doing an "unboxing" type of post, I review the products over the course of a month and then let you know what I thought and all the product details. If you didn't see my November bag review you can check it out HERE.

This post is a bit late, but we'll be getting back on track for February.
Here's what I received in my December Ipsy Bag...

1). December's Glam Bag- Not going to lie, this month's bag was a disappointment for sure; it felt cheap, was flimsy, and the zipper was in a weird spot. I will probably end up giving it to my daughter to keep her play makeup in.

2). NYX Butter Lip Balm in Red Velvet- Retails for $4.00 (this is the full size)
I'm not a big tinted lip balm fan, I'd rather just wear a lipstick. This is the first NYX balm I…

Gracelynn Rose Designs & GIVEAWAY

Today I'm very excited to introduce everyone to Gracelynn Rose Designs! The owner, Stephanie, is one of my closest and dearest friends that I consider more of a sister. The first time we met it was instant friendship, now we've known each other for 5 years. Even though we're currently thousands of miles apart it's as if we never left.

Stephanie has been designing her own jewelry since 2001 and selling it to customers along with a few stores. Each design is her own, delicately handcrafted, and unique. She did an entire jewelry line based on Twilight (which of course I loved every piece) that was so beautiful AND she sold a line of pearl & crystal bracelets to David's Bridal and those were stunning.

For my birthday Stephanie sent me a pair of earrings in the mail and I fell in love with them and wear them every chance I get. Might I add that they are 1 of a kind, not another pair like them...

It's obvious that my girl is super talented and I'm so proud of h…
