I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...
He's mister white Christmas, he's mister snow...

 Obviously snow has been on my mind for the past few weeks.I love it. I want it. I need it. I will not be completely and fully 100% happy until I get it. Yes, there is snow up the mountain, which is only a 30 minute drive for me. But I'm talking open the front door and seeing only white covering my yard. Honestly, I go through this feeling every year and the results are always the same...a light dusting of snow that lasts no more than 16 hours.

 Since I'm most likely not getting snow any time soon, anything white will do.

Short on Inspiration?

HOLY COW! There is so much inspiration out there for denim shorts! Usually I'm more of a skirt/dress person in the spring and summer, but I'm just really feeling all the cool shorts out there and wanna be a part of it all. I wish you could all come to my house and have a big ole' DIY party, sip on mojitos, laugh, and have a good time. Instead it looks like the hubby is gonna be helping me out because I can't wait any longer to do this. Originally I was going to wait on this post until after I finished making the shorts, but I just couldn't wait. I mean can you tell how excited I am about this?  Okay, so I can't tell you ALL the ideas that are running around in my mind that I'm sure is run by mignons , then there would be no element of surprise. Gems & Jewels

I'm a huge fan of big, chunky, gemmed (word?), and jeweled rings. Recently I received my Forever 21 order in the mail and immediately fell in love with the accessories I'd purchased. They're fun, functional, trendy, and sometimes even conversation starters. Forever 21 has great pieces for an exceptionally low price compared to many other stores. And honestly the pieces that I've bought have lasted a long time. Similar gemstone ring here / Eagle ring here / Knuckle ring in gold & brown here I seriously wear that eagle as often as possible...lol WOW...and let's not even talk about my totally un-manicured and unpainted nails....uugghhhh!
