Polka Dot Life

Midi skirts are a trend that I'm absolutely loving. They are versatile in the fact that almost anyone can wear them and it's so easy to style several different ways. I picked up one at H&M for only 7 euros...pleated, hot pink, black waistband, adorable. So I picked one that was pretty similar to mine and styled it 3 different ways. If you don't have a bralette then go for that black lace lingerie in the drawer, that's what I did. Pair it with some sequin pumps and a cute clutch with a pop of color and viola. I like the mix of all the different textures here plus we get a little of the pink/red ever so popular color combo.  2nd Look- Pastels were drowning the Spring 2012 runways and gave me that frilly, romantic, girly feeling! Tangerine...Seriously??? by polkadotlife featuring a bow blouse As we all know, tangerine has been named the tinge hue of the season for spring. Orange is 1. The color in my wardrobe that I own the least of 2. Not so flattering on myself (maybe I should let you vote on that) 3. Add to black = it's Halloween, add to white & yellow = candy corn (although such a delicious treat) 4. It's just my least favorite color 5. Brown is usually as close as I get 6. Spring is right around the corner and I can't wait because there are so many great trends that I can't wait to take part in.  1. Color blocking ...never has been my thing, but as part of the new year I'm going to take risks even if I am unsure. 2. Structured Handbag's have always peaked my interests, but I don't have any bags this sleek. Of course a little metallic adds in a piece of fun and glam to!  3. The Star Print fad has gotten to me and I now want it 4. Sequin Shorts are perfect for a spring/summer night out, these will be next since I've already ordered the leather ones.  5. The Hunger Games is an awesome trilogy and YES this bracelet is not only inspired by the books/movie but it's also fashionable. Sort of reminds me of the southwestern trend 6.
